Team Rubicon Patriot Exercise

On July 18, 2016, Salamander Technologies and Team Rubicon participated in an exercise that provided the National Guard an opportunity to improve cooperation and relationships with its regional civilian, military and federal partners in preparation for emergencies and catastrophic events.

St. Louis County Presidential Debate

On October 9th, 2016, Salamander Technologies and Midwest Card assisted the St. Louis County Office of Emergency Management with the Presidential Debate held in St. Louis County, Missouri.

FireHouse Expo 2016

Salamander Technologies was invited by the Tennessee Fire Chiefs, the Greater Nashville Mutual Aid District, and Firehouse Magazine to provide accountability at the 2016 Firehouse Magazine Expo held in Nashville, Tennessee. Expected attendance for the expo included over 1500 students, instructors, and staff. Salamander Technologies Intelligent AccountabilityTM solutions was a welcome addition to the expo to both showcase and exercise its accurate methods in tracking and accountability.

Connecticut Department of Homeland Security Region 1 Field Day Exercise

On September 25, 2016, Salamander teamed up with Higgins Corporation to support the Connecticut Department of Homeland Security Region 1 with their Regional Field Day Exercise on the shores of Long Island Sound at Sherwood Island State Park. This exercise showcased regional emergency preparedness and the assets available to be shared across its 14 towns.

Cedar Rapids Iowa Flood

At 9:30PM on Friday, September 23, 2016, an emergency call went out to one of Salamander’s resellers, Midwest Card, from the Cedar Rapids Police Department requesting accountability assistance. Thunderstorms had repeatedly dumped heavy rain in southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and west central Wisconsin.
